This route sort of revisits a trip I did in 1995 with a friend through the north end of Algonquin Park. My partner Irene Jansen and I didn't repeat the exact route this time, but we wanted to do a sort of warm-up for a longer trip we're planning for later this summer.
This is my trip journal. Irene has a few comments mixed in there, and sometimes I pretend to speak for both of us, but if there's anything wierd, wrong or outrageous, blame me.
Canoe tripping isn't easy, and even within the relatively safe confines of a park like Algonquin, bad things can happen and you can really hurt yourself. So don't do this stuff unless you know what you're doing. There. Don't say I didn't warn you.
